Rahab’s Hideaway was founded in 2008 by Ms. Marlene Carson—a survivor of Human Trafficking. Ms. Carson has been instrumental in raising public awareness about the social injustice of Human Sex Trafficking both locally and nationally. Through Rahab’s Hideaway, Ms. Carson has successfully assisted law enforcement and mobilized community volunteers in rescue missions to get domestic minor sex trafficked victims off the streets and bring their pimps to justice. Today, Rahab’s Hideaway is owned and operated by Nothing Into Something Real Estate, Inc. (NISRE)—a faith based nonprofit organization that has been successfully serving the community with successful restorative housing programs since 2002.
Rahab’s Hideaway is a restorative housing program that provides critical solutions and a way out for those who have become victims of human trafficking.
The mission of Rahab’s Hideway is to develop appropriate responses to meet the needs of women and children who have fallen prey to human sex trafficking by offering them assistance, including a fully comprehensive residential treatment program which provides housing, education, health care, mental health services, and support in an effort to enhance their opportunity to grow and develop and become safe and productive members of society.
