Support the S.O.A.P. Project
August 26th is Women's Equality Day in the United States. This year, support an anti-trafficking organization founded by a brave and dynamic woman.
The Mercy Project Colorado is a privately funded 501c3 organization that works to provide safety, healing and hope for girls who have been rescued from commercial sexual exploitation (CSE). We do this by establishing faithful partnerships with safe houses and aftercare facilities to provide service and encouragement to caregivers who work each day with these children, and through partnerships and support of organizations and individuals who work directly with these rescued children. We believe through medical care, counseling and individualized attention, The Mercy Project Colorado can help provide children with the self-esteem and adequate life skills that are essential for a promising future.
We know that many organizations work to bring awareness to the illegal sex trafficking industry, and many organizations are actively involved in rescue of these children. However, rescue is only the beginning. The Mercy Project Colorado focuses on providing the much needed place of safety, healing and restoration to help survivors transition from the sex industry to a healthy life. Through this work, children can recover from trauma and begin to trust others. The Mercy Project Colorado strives to help rescued children experience God’s healing love and develop into the whole person God intended them to be.
"The mission of The Mercy Project Colorado is to partner and assist organizations that provide safety, healing and hope for girls who have been forced into commercial sexual exploitation (CSE). By addressing this important aspect of restoration, we work with other organizations to end the horrific practice of sex-trafficking."
