  • History: In 1985, five communities of women religious came together to collaborate and combine their skills to pray, study and act in areas of extreme social need. These peace and justice issues have changed and evolved through the years, from racial equality, to economic justice, to the environment, and more. IJPC is currently focusing our education and advocacy work on four core issues: Human Trafficking, Immigration, Death Penalty, and Peace and Nonviolence. IJPC educates through presentations in school, civic, and church groups, provides community programming and mobilizes people to take action by making their voices heard.
  • Mission: Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center (IJPC) educates and advocates for peace, challenges unjust local, national, and global systems, and promotes the creation of a non-violent society.
